Activity feed

The activity feed shows what has recently changed in the places and areas you care about. Open it from the activity button on the map.

It has two tabs:

• Local — activity in the areas currently shown around the map.
• Following — activity in the areas you have saved. Signing in is required, and you need at least one saved area. See Accounts and saved items .

Filtering

The filter button in the feed’s menu opens a dialog with:

• Area chips (Local tab) — choose which of the areas near the map to include. Communities are selected by default.
• Interval chips — how far back to look: 1d, 1w, 1m, 6m or 1y.

Changing a chip reloads the feed immediately.

Reading the feed

Each entry names the place or area, what happened, who did it, and how long ago. Boosted places show how long they are boosted for. Tapping an entry opens the place.

If a request fails, the feed offers Tap to retry instead of an empty list. The Following tab explains what to do when you are signed out or have no saved areas yet.
